Market St Cafe

Great little cafe and bakery near the central markets. Bake their own bread croissants etc. Had the breakfast special of zucchini and halloumi fritters with hummus and it was sensational. Hummus wasn’t too garlicky and the smoky paprika balanced well with the sweetness of the zucchini. Came with a perfectly poached egg and a little salad with a zingy vinaigrette. Will be back to sample more of the menu!!

We had an amazing brunch at Market St Cafe! The ricotta pancakes were fluffy with fresh, tasty mixed fruit, and the smoked salmon bagel was spot on. Beautiful presentation, great vibe, and super friendly staff. The coffee was excellent too. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Left the kids at Guzman y Gomez around the corner and grabbed a coffee and pastry. Absolutely loved the soy latte (Bonsoy) even though there was no latte art, the taste of the beans really shone through. The game changer for me was the chocolate almond croissant. Admittedly I’ve never had one with chocolate before so this just blew my mind. Yummy when warmed up! The outdoor seating was good vibes with heaters in the winter. I was tossing up whether to go into the market for some coffee but glad I made the decision to grab one outside..

Great coffee. Plenty of seating indoors and some outside. Also has a nice fresh selection of pastries too which is great. The place is nice and there are some various options for breakfast food, however I asked for a cappuccino and it was served not warm more on the coldish side; with the food, I asked for poached eggs but the yolks were not runny. The mushrooms though were very tasty, and waiting time was reasonable considering most tables were busy. Overall yes, I would come back but next time I will ask for small mistakes to be corrected

Good cafe. Would be good for work breakfasts I think as it’s a nice central location with good space. Was a nice location for breakfast when I was staying at Hotel Indigo!

Great coffee and freshly made pastries. My personal opinion is that their quality is better than those stalls inside the Central Market. The outdoor seating is good, though a bit narrow, as the Market Street is not wide. Today I enjoyed a coffee under the direct sunlight in a cold winter afternoon, which was warm and cozy. Much appreciated this outdoor seating. I tried their pastries some times ago, which were awesome and delicious too.
